Dressmaker Price, Launch Discount and the Three Bundles
Dressmaker costs $14.99 with a 10% launch discount. Here is what the discount window does, which bundles exist, and what the price actually buys in content.

Dressmaker is $14.99 in the United States, with a 10% launch discount bringing it to $13.49. The discount is a launch-window offer that ends about a week after release. The exact date depends on your store region and time zone, so trust the page in front of you over any number written here.
The developers published their own pricing post before launch, and they used it to answer the obvious suspicion directly: no microtransactions, no ads, no data harvesting. They also confirmed regional pricing, and named a Chinese price of 59 yuan in the same post.
Price and discount at a glance
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Base price (US) | $14.99 |
| Launch discount | 10% off |
| Discounted price (US) | $13.49 |
| Discount window | About a week from release |
| Regional pricing | Yes, confirmed by the developers |
| Microtransactions, ads, data collection | None, per the developers |
A note on the discount end date. Two readings of the same store page a day apart gave 28 and 29 September. A press report from launch day said 28 September. That is a time-zone rounding difference, not a change of plan. Check your own region’s page for the date that applies to you.
The three named bundles
Dressmaker appears in bundles alongside other games, each discounted as a set.
| Bundle | Paired with |
|---|---|
| Dressmaker x Paralives | Paralives |
| Dressmaker X Tiny Bookshop | Tiny Bookshop |
| Dressmaker X Town to City | Town to City |
The store page also says there are four bundles in total, and one of the four is not named in the section that lists the other three. This page will not guess it.
Bundles only save you money if you actually want the second game. If you do not, the launch discount is the cheaper route.
What $14.99 buys
The developers listed the content themselves, and it is unusually specific.
- Roughly 35 hours of story commissions, excluding dresses you make and sell on your own.
- Over 150 dress pieces.
- Over 450 fabrics.
- Over 350 accessories.
- More free content and new features planned after launch.
They also made the comparison explicit. They priced it level with a Free Lives game from over a decade earlier whose story campaign was about six hours long. That is their framing, and the achievement list backs up the direction: 32 achievements, with ten of them tied to completing a customer’s entire story arc.
One caveat on the 35 hours. Nobody has published a measured playthrough figure yet. The largest community time-tracking site has the game listed but no submitted times at the time of writing, so 35 hours remains the developers’ own estimate.
Checking your own regional price
Open the store page and read the price in your own currency. Steam shows the local amount and whether tax is included, and the discount is applied before checkout. A press report and the developers’ post both confirm regional pricing, so the dollar figure is not the price everyone pays.
Test the loop for free before you pay
The itch.io prototype is free at a price you choose, and it covers the cutting and sewing loop that makes up most of the game’s minute-to-minute play. It does not cover the story, the finished character art or the progression, so use it as a hand-feel test rather than a demo of the full game. The demo page explains what the prototype does and does not contain.
For what the game runs on, see the platform page.
